This 1999 sequel to the mega blockbuster “Toy Story” found Buzz Lightyear (voice by Tim Allen) and gang trying to rescue Woody (voice by Tom Hanks) from the clutches of an evil toy collector. After you watch the movie, make sure to tune into the DVD Outtakes for some hilarious scenes that didn’t quite make it to the film’s final cut. Here are some scenes you’ll be treated to.

Ouch! That’s Got to Hurt!

This outtake shows the “rescue party” using Rex the Green Dinosaur (voice by Wallace Shawn) as a battering ram to open the grate in the air duct. When his head hits, the grate doesn’t budge!

What Did He Eat, Anyway

An alternate scene shows the packages of Buzz Lightyears stacked on each other. The camera starts to role when all of a sudden one of the toys “burps”.

Toy Shenanigans

Most movie sets have at least one practical joker. Who would have thought that this time around it would be Woody? Watch these “outtakes” that show some of the jokes played on Buzz such as a mustache and eyelashes drawn on his visor, ink on the binoculars that left circles around his eyes and Woody making faces at him when he walks by a toy package.

How Much Can You Pack Inside a Mr. Potato Head?

In several scenes we see Mrs. Potato Head (voice of Estelle Harris) pack everything except the kitchen sink in the storage compartment on Mr. Potato Head (voice of Don Rickles). Did he really need the golf ball and Cheetoes?

You’re Pulling My String!

Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) yanks the string on Woody’s back and it gives way. When she’s looking at the string, watch her start to laugh and “break character”.

Goodbye Already

How long can Tour Guide Barbie (voice of Jodi Benson) smile and say “good-bye”? You’ll have to watch this outtake as she says her goodbyes and then goes on a tirade about smiling and needing a break.
