Movie Stars and Music Videos

 

Many of Hollywood’s hottest stars are also music fans that tend to appear in different musical artists’ videos from time to time.  We take a look at some of the actors and actresses who have popped up in music videos and which ones they’ve appeared in.

 

Ben Affleck not only starred in “Gigli” with one time flame Jennifer Lopez but also appeared in her music video “Jenny From the Block”.

 

Courteney Cox Arquette starred in all three Scream movies.  She has appeared in the music videos “Dancing in the Dark” by Bruce Springsteen and “A Long December” by the Counting Crows.

 

Adrien Brody the star of “The Pianist” and King Kong appeared in the Tori Amos music video for “A Sorta Fairytale”.

 

Chevy Chase who starred in “Caddyshack” and Christmas Vacation appeared in the Paul Simon video for “You Can Call Me Al”.

 

Macaulay Culkin who starred in the Home Alone movies, “The Good Son” and “Saved!” appeared in the Michael Jackson video for “Black or White”.

 

Robert Downey Jr. has starred in a number of films including “Chaplin”, “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints” and the upcoming “Iron Man”.  He also appeared in the video for Elton John’s song “I Want Love”.

 

Heather Graham the star of “Boogie Nights”, “From Hell” and “Bowfinger” appeared in Lenny Kravitz’s video for “American Woman”.

 

Jennifer Love Hewitt who starred in “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “The Tuxedo” and “Garfield” appeared in the video “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias.

 

Angelina Jolie starred in “Lara Croft: Tombraider” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”.  She has appeared in several music videos including the Lemonheads’ “It’s About Time” and the Rolling Stones’ “Has Anybody Seen My Baby”.

 

Juliette Lewis who starred in 1991’s remake “Cape Fear”, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape and the horror flick “From Dusk ‘til Dawn” appeared in Melissa Etheridge’s video “Come to My Window”.

 

Eddie Murphy starred in “48 Hours”, Daddy Daycare and “Dreamgirls” as well as Michael Jackson’s video for “Remember the Time”.

 

Mike Myers appeared as Austin Powers in the video “Beautiful Stranger” by Madonna.  Myers has starred in the Austin Powers and “Wayne’s World” movies and voiced the main character in the Shrek films.

 

Dennis Quaid who starred in Any Given Sunday, “Dragonheart” and “Frequency” also appeared in Bonnie Raitt’s video for “Thing Called Love”.

 

Keanu Reeves the star of The Matrix, “Speed” and “The Lake House” appeared in Paula Abdul’s video for “Rush, Rush”.

 

Julia Roberts starred in Pretty Woman, Notting Hill and Erin Brockovich.  She also appeared in the music video “Dreamgirl” by Dave Matthews Band.

 

Mickey Rourke who starred in “Man on Fire”, “Domino” and Sin City also appeared in the Enrique Iglesias video for “Hero”.

 

Arnold Schwarzenegger has starred in “The Terminator”, End of Days and “Kindergarten Cop”.  He has also appeared in several music videos including “You Could Be Mine” by Guns N’ Roses and “Big Gun” by AC/DC.

 

Alicia Silverstone starred in “Clueless”, Batman & Robin and “Blast From the Past”.  She also appeared in three Aerosmith videos including ”Cryin’”, “Crazy” and “Amazing”.

 

Wesley Snipes the star of the “Blade” movies and “U.S. Marshalls” appeared in Michael Jackson’s “Bad” video.

 

Liv Tyler who starred in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and “Armageddon” also appeared in the Aerosmith video “Crazy”.

 

Christopher Walken the star of “Deer Hunter”, “Catch Me if You Can”, The Rundown and Wedding Crashers also starred in Fatboy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice” video.

 

Robin Williams the Oscar winner for “Good Will Hunting” and star of such films as “Dead Poet’s Society”, “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “RV” appeared in the video for “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” by Bobby McFerrin.

 

Elijah Wood who starred in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, “Deep Impact” and voiced the character Mumble in “Happy Feet” also starred in the video “Forever Your Girl” by Paula Abdul.
