2007 Tribeca Film Festival

Since 2002, the Tribeca Film Festival has showcased some of the year’s best independent films and highly anticipated movies. 2007 is now exception. This year’s Tribeca Film Festival is taking place from April 25^th through May 6^th. We take a look at some of the films premiering at the festival.

The Air I Breathe

Brendan Fraser, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Andy Garcia were on hand at the Tribeca Film Festival for the premier of their movie "The Air I Breathe". The movie, also starring Forest Whitaker and Kevin Bacon, focuses on four individual stories that relate to the four emotions of happiness, love, pleasure and sorrow.

Day Zero

When the draft is reinstated, three friends must delve deep into themselves when they're given a month before having to report for duty. "Day Zero" stars Jon Bernthal, Chris Klein and Elijah Wood.

Good Time Max

James Franco not only stars in "Good Time Max" but he also wrote and directed the film. The movie tells the story of two brothers whose lives take two separate paths.

The Hammer

Adam Carolla stars in this comedy about a former boxer who decides to make a comeback after years of going nowhere.

Heckler

"Heckler" is a documentary that takes a "no holds barred" look at the bashers, critics and hecklers who have criticized various films. Look for appearances by Jamie Kennedy, David Cross, Jon Lovitz, Eli Roth, Joel Schumacher, Henry Winkler and Rob Zombie.

Live!

This mockumentary follows an aggressive TV executive as she works to get the ultimate reality show on the airwaves: one in which the contestants will play Russian Roulette. "Live!" stars David Krumholtz and Eva Mendes.

Nobel Son

Bill Pullman, Alan Rickman and Mary Steenburgen star in "Nobel Son". What deep, dark family secrets will surface when Barkley (Bryan Greenberg) is kidnapped the day before his father (Rickman) receives the Nobel prize?

Normal Adolescent Behavior

Amber Tamblyn stars as Wendy in "Normal Adolescent Behavior". Wendy is caught in the middle when she's torn between loyalty to a childhood friend and the prospects that come with finding your first love.

Purple Violets

What will happen when a struggling writer reconnects with her former flame? Selma Blair, Edward Burns and Debra Messing star in "Purple Violets".

Rise: Blood Hunter

Sadie, a reporter, is determind to find out who turned her into a vampire and why. "Rise: Blood Hunter" stars Lucy Liu and Michael Chiklis.

Suburban Girl

Alec Baldwin and Sarah Michelle Gellar star in "Suburban Girl". Will love prevail when Brett (Gellar) falls for an older man, Archie (Baldwin)?

Take

Minnie Driver and Jeremy Renner star in "Take" which tells the story of two people whose lives are touched by a devastating tragedy.

Watching The Detectives

Neil's life takes a drastic change when he meets the adventurous Violet. Lucy Liu and Cillian Murphy star in "Watching the Detectives".

Where God Left His Shoes

Frank Diaz has the chance to get his family off the street when an apartment becomes available. However, as a prerequisite, Frank first has to have a job. Will he be able to succeed on Christmas Eve? "Where God Left His Shoes" stars John Leguizamo.

You Kill Me

"You Kill Me" stars Ben Kingsley and Tea Leoni. Frank (Kingsley) is a hitman trying to go legit. The movie also stars Bill Pullman and Luke Wilson.
