Scarlett Johansson and Ben Stiller Honored At Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Awards

The 2007 Harvard Hasty Pudding Awards honored two of Hollywood’s notable talents at events held in February in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  This year’s Women of the Year Award was bestowed upon Scarlett Johansson while Man of the Year honors went to Ben Stiller.

Scarlett Johansson received her accolades at festivities held on February 15th.  Besides the “roast” and the legendary “pudding pot” award, Johansson was also grand marshal of the event’s annual parade.  The actress who starred in “Girl with a Pearl Earring” (2003), “Lost in Translation” (2003) and “The Prestige” (2006) next appears in “The Nanny Diaries” (2007).  The Woman of the Year award has been a fixture since 1951.  Previous “Women of the Year” include Lucille Ball, Drew Barrymore, last year’s honoree Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock.

Actor/comedian Ben Stiller was honored during the celebration and gala on February 23rd.  Stiller recently appeared in the blockbuster film “Night at the Museum” (2006) and has also starred in Meet the Parents, “Zoolander” (2001) and Dodgeball.  Man of the Year honors have been awarded since 1963.  Previous “Man of the Year” honorees include Richard Gere, Anthony Hopkins, Martin Scorsese and John Travolta.
